I get asked all the time, how is the real estate market around Lake City Florida. Below are the numbers comparing the Single Family Homes from November 2013 to November 2014 from the Lake City Board of Realtors Office.
The closed sales for November 2014 was 36, which was up to 44.0% from November 2013, 25 closed sales. The new pending sales stayed the same at 40 comparing both months. Buyers who paid in cash for November 2014 was 14 with November 2013 coming in at 10. This is a 40% increase.
New Listing for November 2013 was at 62, with this years November listings coming in at 70. This is a 12% increase. The average sale price was down from $121,752 to $117,582 for this year’s November and the pending inventory also was down from 130 to 75 this year. This is a -42.3.
Lake City FL is continuing to grow with a new Harbor Freight store and Panera Bread off of Highway 90 in Lake City. Also, Cedar River Seafood is moving to the corner of Highway 90 and Sisters Welcome Road. The completed by-pass around Lake City called Bascom Norris has just been finished and is a beautiful drive that can keep you off of Highway 90.
Lake City Florida has so much to offer in real estate options. From homes on the Lake to a home in a subdivision. To view the homes, land or farms that are on the market, visit my website at http://www.NorthFlHomesandLand.com .
